A New Project of Sustainable Bainbridge
The ReUse Depot
LEND, MEND & MAKE!
A Community Hub for Circularity and Resiliency

About us
The ReUse Depot is a new community-centered consortium of reuse-recycle-repair programs offering material exchanges, resource and recycling initiatives, a library of things, and repair-reuse workshops, all under one roof. We are fiscally sponsored by Sustainable Bainbridge, a 501-c3 charitable organization, and we are currently fundraising for a physical space to call home.

Our main programs
ReMaker Space
A place to create with found and donated materials through workshops, fashion shows, clothing swaps, speakers, and textile repairs. It offers recreation for all ages to innovate creative solutions and conserve resources. This space would also provide education about reuse and the environmental impact of consumer choices.
Library of Things
A subscription-based membership lending library of shared goods such as tools, recreational equipment, toys, entertaining supplies, and other household goods.

Make the space yours, share what you'd like us to stock by clicking on the survey below!
Resource Kiosk
A community information kiosk and bulletin board to promote recycling and community reuse opportunities. A more centralized drop-off location for hard-to-recycle items (batteries, eyeglasses, pill bottles) to be sorted. This will also serve as a way to share news and information from other neighborhood drives and initiatives.

Why Support Us
We are dedicated to the reuse, repair and repurposing of usable goods in our community. Our planet is asking us to think twice about how we use our resources. Through engaging educational programs and services, we hope to bring our community together to become even more resilient, innovative, creative, and resourceful. Help us grow our project and our reach!

A Great Experience
Welcome in! We want you to feel at home at the ReUse Depot. Borrow a ladder, learn to sew, meet a friend to discuss your next repurposing adventure. We aim to be able to help you, from resources to workshop sessions, from fix-it cafes to family crafternoons. Let us know what we can do to deliver a quality experience.
Community Engagement
The ReUse Depot is more than just a place to borrow tools—it’s a hub for community connection. Through artisanal markets, educational workshops, and local events, we bring people together to celebrate creative, sustainable living. Join us in building a more resilient community!

Sustainability Practices
We are committed to sustainable practices that protect the environment and promote long-term community health and learning. From lending methods to repurposing leftover materials, to sharing news from other organizations, we want to ensure our neighborhoods can stay resilient and grow responsibly into the future.
